This work was made while in residence with Rupert in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Fabricated from provisional materials of cardboard, papier-mâché, silver tape, and Lithuanian industry staples linen and beeswax. This temporary exhibition was the culmination of two months exploring the idea of amnesia as a personal and cultural strategy for survival. These weavings were made on a soviet floor loom borrowed from the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
